You can make a new account on slrpnk.net and then import and export your settings from this account to the new one. That would take two clicks

Correct, there’s currently no way to migrate post / comment history to another instance.
Personally I’d just drop a note on the old user profile pointing at the new one and hope for the best. Portable accounts isn’t a solved problem in the fediverse yet.
Just link to your old profile on the new one. Use the same username and picture if you want to be recognized
