Even if you don’t like lawyers, even if you don’t like the military, even if you don’t like Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson, and Demi Moore, this movie is still worth watching. That’s because the dialogue is solid. Probably because it started out as a play, and therefore doesn’t rely on stunts or action or even great cinematography. If you’ve already seen it, watch it again, and try to see if you can find even one line of dialogue that you could remove, that would make things better. It’s tough. Because every line belongs there. That’s the truth… even if “you can’t handle” it!
