    Those hourly price changes are wild. I feel like electricity doesn’t cost 100x more at 9 am than what it costs at 10 am

      Doesn’t to you! It might to produce. Your bill is averaged.

      This is why there is a market incentive to find cheap energy storage. If you can buy at 1x and store till it’s 100x… Well…

    In surprised Brazil is not sitting at 0. For decades now 90% is hydroelectric. Most of the rest is nuclear.
    And Paraguay shares half of the second largest dam in the world and sells excess electricity to Brazil.
