    I think in this case it’s a bit personal.

    Old South Africa gave Israel the research needed to complete their nukes and return they generally supported the Apartheid government, not imposing economic sanctions on them and providing backchannel support.

    Since Mandela took power in 1994, there hasn’t been entirely friendly relations between SA and IS.

      I mean that’s interesting and surely adds to it but I’m pretty certain the main reason is that Israel doesn’t want to get sentenced by a human rights court for committing genocide.

      Weird how the government of a former freedom fighter who was imprisoned for 27 years by an Apartheid regime wouldn’t be very friendly with the friends of that Apartheid regime, another Apartheid regime!
