All over the world, regressive parties are on the rise again.
Basically, everyone who isn’t rich can already feel the indirect effects of climate change, and the direct effects of late stage capitalism.
But our brains are still wired for the stone age. Instead of choosing leaders who at least acknowledge the problem, half the monkey brains choose the leader who promises that everything will be alright if we just kick out the other monkeys that look different and yell at the monkeys that want to take our toys away.
