    At this point, “(CEO from financial institution|right-wing politician) wants you to work more” is kind of a trope and not particularly newsworthy.

      I think it’s newsworthy in the sense that this is how the wealthy view the world, and it shows the disconnect between the haves and the have-not.

    What he doesn’t mean is: work harder and you’ll get something out of it.

    What he does mean is: work harder so that we can satisfy the shareholders.

      I’d rather not eat the rich. After eating a big corporation’s CEO, you’ll likely need to check yourself into rehab in order to get rid of the cocaine addiction you’ll acquire from such a meal.

          That’s the neat part. They make it illegal to do something about it, so most people will comply and not do anything.
