They are right though. They literally controlled the media by placing their followers in higher up positions.
Just like it is with the BBC right now in the UK. Pretty shameful.

Tusk and his staff said they want to restore democracy, and this is part of it.

unfortunately the article remains vague on that.
The key question for that will be how the new bosses are chosen and if the legal system is reformed,that allowed this kind of influencing in the first place.
