I’m sharing is uninspiring fact because there is a myth that a British guy asked “what’s that?” and the answer was “I don’t understand you.” which supposedly sounds like kangaroo. This is wrong. There is a aboriginal language where this would work (hence the myth) but not in the area where this happened (yes, there are many aboriginal languages).
