    I don’t use reddit for p0rn, but the fact is that a lot of reddit users won’t consider lemmy an option unless there’s porn.

    Actually, I think it’s important to have one also because it’s better to compartmentalize that shit on its own dedicated instance, anyway.

    PSA: WE NEED A PORN INSTANCE. Any takers?

      Seems completely unnecessary since there are many porn sites online already. Also it would take quite a lot of server resources since it’s all images and video.

      And do we want reddit users who want porn here?

        Instance rules could mandate media to be hosted externally. Imgur is out of the question but plenty other services exist.
