More than half of U.S. states are reporting 'very high' levels of COVID activity, according to wastewater data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
It does say right below the headline “wastewater data shows” so it seems that’s the metric. It also says that’s the best metric they have available right now.
How? Nobody’s testing anymore. Hospitalization and wastewater testing will only get you so far.
I thought wastewater was the most reliable, can’t hide shit.
But a lot of places have stopped even that.
Pharmacies and doctors see the cases.

I test. Its incorrect to say that nobody is testing. That’s a false statement.
It’s spreading so fast in my area that people are actually testing again just so they know what they’re dealing with

Some of those test kits have very conservative expiration dates.
That said, pharmacies often carry have tests. Do you live somewhere where a delivery service can pick some up from a pharmacy?
Yeah I mean use the test. If its positive then you’re positive. If its negative then buy another test.
Check and see if your local library is distributing them, if you’re not having any luck at the pharmacy.
