    That’s an opportunity to learn how to do camping better next time, if you figure out what works for you, it can be pretty comfortable

      For starters never go camping on a beach, it’s almost always miserable.

        Sand, biting sand insects, sand in the tent, crazy wind, sand in the food, more sand.

        Beach is great for the day, but I’ve learned to camp in the woods near the beach… not at the beach

          I was about to start the same list. Also - sand at day is warm and kinda soft, lying on sand at night is cold and as hard as concrete.
