All the guides I’ve seen are like “check out this budget phone for $350, it has five cameras”
I only need one camera and it just has to be good enough to take pictures of documents while still being readable.
Android 12
Like 16gb storage minimum. 2gb ram minimum.
Most phones seem to be way over those specs knocking up price. A bunch that r more affordable don’t go up to Android 12. I assume Android 12 is important so I don’t get hacked when I’m trying to do banking on my phone on unsecured public Wi-Fi (which is where I do all my banking :( )
What budget do you actually have?
There’s a crosspost button btw.
I got my current phone 16gb storage, 2gb ram, 1 camera for 100$ new. Android 10 though. Getting pretty slow and glitchy.
So 100$ budget, but accounting for inflation since then I guess like 120$ budget
I used it for this post :p
Then first try a factory reset, this helped for me in the past.
Weird, it doesn’t show as crossposted in the UI oO sorry
Basically only a cheap chinese phone is possible then. Just get the cheapest Xiaomi/Redmi and be done with it.
There’s this subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/PickAnAndroidForMe/
EDIT: Realme 8 looks OK, costs 150€ though. Also the Samsung Galaxy A13 is in a similar price range. Filtered for Android 12 and 50-150€ on Geizhals.eu
I wouldn’t get something with <4GB RAM or <Android 11.0.
