    The issue for us in Europe won’t be Trump winning the US election, it could even be a good opportunity to strengthen EU and build a better EU defence and a real defence Industry (Look at how the debate on which country should have the leadership on the new Franco-German fighter-jet/Tank or whatever).

    The issue is that we do have a lot of politicians who are more or less pro-Russia. If Trump can win, so can Le-Pen, if Schröder was corrupted by Russia, how can we be sure that the next german Chancellor won’t be ? If Orbàn applies the same policies as Putin why wouldn’t him build a strong military alliance with Russia ?

    Let’s not blame the US for our lack of unity and defence policy

      Totally agree, we face a possible far right European Parliament next June. Brussels and the national governments refuse to fix the democratic deficit of the EU. If then Germany or France topple as well, Trump will be the least of our problems.
