    This sounds really expensive. 5G as a backup makes sense, but 30 bucks is actual primary service money, not just in case money.

    Make it 5 and I would consider it.

      Or even $50 a year with like 5 GB included and pay-as-you-go afterward.

      But yeah, $30/mo is more than I pay for my single line that also includes hotspot.

            For cable. 5G 20GB costs 30€/month, and 45€/month for 2 (only because my father’s been a customer for a decade). Practically, you’ll always never actually have 5G, and oftentimes only E or nothing at all. And if you don’t check if your contract was just silently changed, you could easily accidentally rack up a charge of 200€ out of the country.
