    I would argue that zero loyalty may be as bad as full loyalty. Also that things are maybe more complicated than subscribing fully to own or other’s values.

        I have one! People with cancer or a similar illness are frequently divorced by their spouses, which feels really fucked up to me. I do “get it,” my mom died after having cancer for eight years and my dad’s life would probably have been easier and less full of grief if he’d divorced her and for couples without kids, that’s a different decision. It’s still incredibly fucked up to imagine doing that to someone you promised to stand by (even if those weren’t your vows. Hell, even if you’re not really married but just in a committed relationship) and I think a little loyalty would be a good thing here.

        That’s personal loyalty though, not political, I don’t know if that makes a difference.
