No because the shower head uses less water so I switch to it immediately.
But it takes 2 more minutes to heat up. You end up wasting more water waiting for it to become hot enough
Sounds like you have a bad water heater or pressure problem
Yeah, why would it take 2 minutes for the pipes to clear between the hot water heater and the shower. Does he live in a 250x1 yard/meter house? Hot water heater on one side and shower on the other?
Central water heaters and tanks exist. Sometimes large multi apartment houses still only have one in the basement.
