out of curiousity, since I feel like most of the time I touch any vi derivative it’s because I need a text editor on a command line, not because I really really wanna use it

I tried various IDEs including VS Code but I always go back to vim. It does everything I need on a daily basis and at the moment I don’t need all the fancy stuff that an IDE comes with.
