This looks like me the first time I took an exit on the German Autobahn. I just started driving maybe a year ago, and in Austria the exits are really wide and have a wide curve radius, so they are never really an issue.

So there I was on the German Autobahn, going a little faster than I would in Austria (since it’s allowed there). I’m getting to the exit, slow down what I thought was an adequate amount, and then I see that the exit is a super sharp corner.

I hit the breaks, but my old Peugeot 106 doesn’t ABS, so hitting the breaks while already oversteering a little makes my rear wheels lose traction. So I ended up basically drifting around that corner. I got really lucky and everything turned out fine.

German Autobahn exits and entrees are crazy. I had the same experience and I was used to Dutch roads. In Germany they expect you to accelerate to 130 km/h in 50 meters or something.

Actually, I am not in Germany, nor am I from Germany. Thought, that story made it clear.

But judging from the upvotes, a few other people found it worth their time ;)
