This reminds me of The Princess Bride. That moment when Inigo finally runs into the six-fingered Count Rugen in the castle hall, and finally says “Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die,” proving his drivenness. And then he gets into position, and levels his sword at his foe, proving his competency. And then Rugen gets into position. And levels his sword at his foe. And…turns on his heel and sprints in the opposite direction.
