Netflix is launching its own ad tech platform only a year and a half after entering the advertising business.

When they run their own ad tech stack, they cut out the middle man and earn all the money themselves. Sure it takes a bit of work to get customers and such, but when you’re a company of that size with that many customers, it shouldn’t be that hard.
