I know there was an avalanche of car manufacturers announcing the switch to NACS, but it looks like a lot of them are just giving drivers access to Tesla via a CCS adapter initially.

Has anyone announced a non-Tesla NACS native car yet?

We are working on it. But it’s not that trivial as CCS, Chadaemo and GB/T (the worldwide major DC charging standards) all use separate PINs for DC-charging. NACS uses the same pins as for AC-charging. (Which only makes sense in North America as the others use up to 3 PINs for AC-charging).

So you have to make sure, that the HV-battery will not be connected to your AC house infrastructure as this could lead to (worst case szenario) burning down your house while you sleep.

The car manufacturers have to modify their hv-topology and of course take care of the needed safety measures. That’s nothing you do in 6 months. That’s something that’s planed normally minimum 2-3 years in advance. Minimum.
