    It won’t affect the election outcome, will it? Colorado seems to be almost guaranteed to elect a democrat and the votes in one state don’t affect the other states.

      The problem really is, that Trump is extremely popular on the right and even though legally and morally (and many other reasons) it would probably be better to have someone else running on the Republican ticket, short of Trump falling very ill, there doesn’t seem to be a way around candidate Trump. And Trump doesn’t need the electoral votes in Colorado. He will try to get some fake electors in more friendly states.

      Nevertheless it’s a signal that other states may pick up on and follow suit.
