I usually boil them 6 minutes, so that I can just barely peel them and then put em in some ginger, garlic, mirin and soy sauce for 2 days. Comes out pretty good, but I feel that there is room for improvement.
Well I just soft boiled them and then marinated them in soy sauce and mirin, but actually for less than a day since I spontaneously had the idea to make ramen.
