I still think we should do the giant ice cube strategy

This would definitely be a desperate, last ditch attempt to avert the absolute worst. As such it’s something worth studying and having as an option if all else fails. The trouble is that these things are usually touted as solutions to allow us to keep going with our current destruction of our ecosphere, rather than adopt obvious, provably viable solutions. And no, i don’t mean nuclear energy.
