That message from Toto seemed like a polite way of saying “shut the f up and drive”

I’m happy that Charles gets a podium again but I wonder how Ferrari will improve enough to be competitive next year.

I can’t believe they’re pitting for the fastest lap! What a risk, and its not like they really need the point.

That would have lost him the race. They wouldnt have been ready and that would have cost the 4 seconds he was in front of leclerc after the stop

Go on the radio like “Coming in, be ready”. You really think, they’d not be ready? Of course they’d be ready.

They would be if its early enough. But if its early enough they could just tell him “No Pitsops anymore” and then its onto Max to call their bluff. Overall it would be really stupid to try to override the teams decisions

Agreed. Staying within the white lines is well within every driver’s ability. Although I think it would be better to design a “penalty” into the track (gravel, grass, etc.).

Its easier to design a penalty into the track than just brake a bit harder or turn a bit more? Grass or Graveltraps are hard to design since so many things like safety, other series need to be taken into account. Also it reduces the kind of corners you can do if white lines arent worth anything

A little bit earlier I complained about this season not being exciting, but damn, this race is actually good and fun to watch. We know who’s going to win, but p2 and p3 are I think open for anybody, given the amount of penalties.

I hope my boy Lando ends in p2!

I hate that even the commentators cant think of drivers just not going to the absolute limit of the white line. Then its also not marginal…

I mean the viewers are frustrated with the dominance. I cant imagine how it is when you dedicate your life to it and then you are uncompetitive

Not strictly race related, but taking part in a live discussion thread on Lemmy is miserable. It’s way too slow to reload, and when you do it forgets that you want it ordered by new.

I’m a Reddit refugee as well. Could you please explain what does it mean that you have your own instance? Does it mean that posts and our comments are stored somewhere on your side as well, and that’s why it’s working good for you?

Lemmy is build from many instances like lemmy.world, lemmy.ml, feddit.de, kbin.social and whatever. They are all interconnected and are mirroring communities from other instances on their own. And some instance are more overcroweded than others right now. I dont really get why it runs smoother to access this post from feddit, since I thought mirroring is bound to the same performance issues. But apparently not
