I think it’s neat, I just discovered it today when browsing on someone’s iphone. Or is it a step in the wrong direction towards 1-in-all apps like Wechat?

    Then all other sites should sue google too as their short card information thingy features mainly Wikipedia, I’ve never seen anything else.
    Many weather apps, including pre-installed ones, often use one specific service. For example, the weather widget of Moto uses accuweather only. Yet nobody cares.
    There are many practices to sue google over, but their, arguably very nice, weather card is not one IMO.
