    Ava then we get to party even more money at the pump when they feel like charging more. Despite us subsidizing them.

    So let’s stop subsidizing oil.

    While I may agree about the point, please compare Bob with a shell employee/dependent or all welfare recipient to all of shells subsventions. This makes a much more compelling argument.

    Edit: In particular if their employees also receive benefits.

    and shell made a profit of 16,2B in 2022. That’s like giving Bob around 22k per day … every day … from year 0 until the year 2023

    If Shell stops getting it from the government, they’ll just raise prices for us to make up the difference. They won’t be hitting their bottom line anytime soon

      They won’t get it from us, they’ll get it from you and other costumers, just like God and the free market intended. I don’t even own a car!
