A couple/few years ago I read about another one in Herefordshire or somewhere producing for export. One of (if not the) biggest in the world. It was partly owned by husband of the then minister responsible for drugs.
According to the company, this hi-tech facility is the first in the UK where cannabis can be grown, packaged and sold directly to pharmacies from a single location.
It’s claimed to be the first to produce end to end, and packaged and sold to pharmacies. Not the first factory, the headline is not the BBC title, and is misleading.

Apparently in 2018 it made the UK the latest exporter even though you could not buy it here. Victoria Atkins was the hypocrite MP whos husband ran it.
When I first saw the thumbnail to this link it looked like some grinning surfer stoner with dyed blue hair and I thought to myself “god they couldn’t have picked a worse picture for their first customer”. Turns out it’s a blue hairnet…
