It really is ironic how it feels like Republicans got things done over the past four years, even without formal power. Biden definitely got a ton of good stuff done, but they were awful at presenting it to the public as wins.

No amount of presentation can fix food and housing still being waaaaay too expensive.

Dems saw the contest was uphill and decided to try and ride on a sled. The GOP at least had a bicycle.

Well, with the hope that the GOP can “fix” an already good overall economy comes a lot of crazy policies that people will have to deal with in many other policy areas. But people chose to be single-issue economy voters and will now have to live with the insanity of all the other policies.

Yea, it’s gonna suck, it was not the right decision, but people are desperate to actually get some economic security and the Dems only have themselves to blame.

Just using the Latino vote as an example, a lot of them went to the GOP because they ONLY reason they voted Dem was economic. Dems didn’t even need to say anything on social issues, all Trump did was run anti-trans attack ads and “Trump won’t tax your tips and overtime!” and they lost a fucking huge number of very socially conservative Latinos.

Probably because despite what they claimed to have passed, we are still struggling while they are telling us we are not

They are talking macroeconomic while you’re talking microeconomics. Two different things. But perception is king. If people feel poor, even when they are not, then the are poor. Turns out they will vote accordingly.
