I’ve never seen a slotted screw head that ends short of the sides like that
Looks like you need to attend another semester of the School for the Mechanically Declined … I seem to have failed too because I’ve never seen a slotted screw like that either.
I’ve seen them before. But the slot is usually as wide as it is long and you use a square bit for it instead of a flathead
I wanna murder the person who invented flat head screws. Always sliding out when you’re trying to turn them
Flat Head screws had their raison d’être 100 years age, because they were easy to manufacture. Nowadays though there are no excuses for using them anymore.
I, too, hate them with a passion.
