Hey there.

So the most recent issue I’ve experienced has been being unable to see any (new or old) posts on !standupcomedy@lemmy.world. It’s a community that I started, in case that somehow affects anything. I’m accessing Lemmy via Edge browser with ad-blocker disabled for Lemmy.World.

I’m very puzzled as to why I haven’t been able to see anything for about a week. I checked again today to see if it was a view filter issue. So I tried all of the view filters for the community and nothing changed. I even opened up community settings to see if something had become activated/deactivated. There seems to be nothing related.

So what’s going on and how could I resolve this issue?

you may have broken your language settings? check in your account settings. the posts are all tagged as English, you’ll want to have at least English and undefined languages selected

Did you unselect English in your settings? I’m able to see the last post from 11 days ago just fine

I’ve had this problem for a long time. I only see a portion of comments. I have languages set as English and Undetermined. That hasn’t solved it for me. If I visit a post in a different browser (that isn’t signed into my account) they’re all visible. No clue why.

That’s strange, did you try clearing your cache? Sometimes that’s where the issue come from

The issue exists on multiple devices and with a dedicated mobile client. I think it’s related to the instance I use, but I haven’t figured it out. I’m also pretty lazy and haven’t cared enough to pursue it.
