    It’s the US government doing it. I don’t care which party provides the current faces. As if that really matters. Killing people is the business that country is in, war is their economy. Sending weapons to anyone is a joke in comparison to past actions. They dropped nukes on people

      I don’t think it’s at all appropriate to say that “sending weapons to anyone is a joke in comparison to past actions” when those weapons are actively being used for genocide. We should not be excusing any level of active harm out of numbness from past atrocities.

      We can look at the whole picture and denounce the US war machine as colonialist and imperialist, but the wording you used there, the way you’re trivializing a very real aspect of the war machine, is dangerously close to genocide apologia.

      True but this time it’s the Democrats in charge and holding the power to send weapons. Republicans certainly aren’t going to stop this, but they would be powerless to do so if they wanted.

      A very inconvenient moment for the duopoly to show its face.

    Defending someone who regularly makes personal attacks against leftists who point out that their suggested course of action moves us more quickly towards fascism isn’t a great look…
