What’s wrong with the chalice dungeons? I am vaguely familiar with them thanks to my favorite youtubers but I’ve never played Bloodborne.
There’s nothing wrong with them per se. Some of them just lack in quality quite a bit. The difficulty spikes, if you’re not prepared, can be quite baffling and the bosses fought there are a little too strong sometimes. The overall design of the dungeons is also a little repetitive and bland at times, similar to these mini dungeons in Elden Ring.
A big boon, however, is that you can essentially just enter any random string of characters and will be given a completely random dungeon. Similar to something like Isaac with its seeds.
Also, cummmfpk exists, which is awesome :)
Ah, I see. Thanks for taking the time to explain!
I’m only familiar with the “cum dungeon” since everyone likes to meme on it, but I never knew what truly made it unique.
No doubt!
Another thing I thought of is that you can farm specific materials and items in specialised dungeons that have been “hand-crafted” and curated by community members over at /r/tombprospectors. You can just enter the seed as soon as you have access to the chalice dungeons and farm away.
