    It’s honestly the reason that Google called a code red when ChatGPT was released. Their results are so bad now that most generalized questions, ChatGPT or most local LLMs can do much better.

    Now I would kill to have a fully powered search engine LLM that had live data. Quite a few “search engine enhanced” examples out there, but a full web index with generalized info that you could just chat and fine tune actual search results. Need to get into it more myself, just wish most libraries weren’t in Python personally.

    I have seen a similar project mentioned on the localllama subreddit so we may get one sooner than later. Hopefully we get good search again one day.
