A promising approach, to write entirely free (as in freedom) software for STM32 chips. For example the stm32-vserprog project, a software turning devboards into SPI-flash-programmers, uses libopencm32.
I’m looking forward to use it in future projects myself. Have you used it before, or know of other nice projects?
