Tesla is also great case study in how certain concepts “fiduciary duty” are more polemical than factual (or legal) for that matter.

Elmo’s chimp outs, drug abuse, work ethic (sitting in twitter all day long), needlessly incendiary rhetoric should clearly be an issue for Tesla’s board of directors.

It turns out people don’t want cars associated with Elon’s shitty ideology while better made electric vehicles from every major manufacturer are becoming available.

Tesla has sought to drum up interest in its plans for robotaxis, artificial intelligence and “genuinely useful” humanoid robots as deliveries slipped amid cooling demand.

    Any day now…

Production of the carmaker’s next-generation Roadster sports car is scheduled to begin next year, Musk said on a conference call with investors on Tuesday.

I bet he can’t wait to fuck over the remaining legacy left by the original founders. The original Tesla Roadster was quite the engineering feat at the time (and didn’t have the production issue later Tasks would have as the body came from Lotus).

He also said he would be “shocked” if Tesla does not introduce “unsupervised” self-driving software by 2025, and claimed that “several thousand” Optimus robots will be deployed in the company’s factories next year, before it starts manufacturing them for wider use.

He is such a clown. Even bigger than the shareholders who believe him. Imagine believing that a company that has not achieved anything noteworthy for positive reasons in the last 5 years, maybe even 10 if you consider that development and engineering for their products finished before release, is going to be a major player in any market, be it AI, related to cars or to manufacturing. Absolutely delusional. At least stock value seems to go down this time. After the last earnings call, which again was just full of broken promises, it went up IIRC. Bonkers.
